As Connected Tennessee’s State Operations Manager for the Middle Tennessee region, Larry Raybon manages Tennessee’s Trail to Innovation, a statewide strategy that promotes technology use and works to increase both the availability and adoption of broadband (also known as high-speed Internet) through mapping and research. Larry also mobilizes local technology planning groups called eCommunity Leadership Teams. In this role, Larry is responsible for determining each Middle Tennessee county’s current use of technology and making plans for the best way to utilize technology in order to improve local government services and provide better healthcare and education, ultimately helping Tennessee communities remain economically strong. Larry is based in Nashville, Tennessee.

Prior to joining Connected Tennessee, Larry served as President and Principal Broker of Falcon Enterprises, a real estate consulting firm he founded and managed in Nashville, where he applied over twenty years experience in real estate sales, leasing, property management and development. In this position, he acquired sites for wireless carriers through long-term leases, prepared system modification applications for Cingular Wireless, and guided projects through initial environmental review, zoning and codes process. Before the establishment of Falcon Enterprises, Larry performed as Site Acquisition Specialist and Project Manager for Crown Castle International in Franklin, TN. There heestablished a new land purchase program for the TN/AR region. He also served as Director of Planning for the Greater Nashville Regional Council in the 1970’s. Larry holds a B.A. in Political Science and History from the University of Alabama and a Masters of Science in Urban and Regional Planning from UT Knoxville. In addition, Larry is a graduate of the Economic Development Institute and holds his Real Estate Broker’s License.
